It’s Nice That is an amazing source for interesting art. It’s where I discovered the colorful and conceptually interesting artwork of Jacob Dahlgren from Sweden. I’m interested in conceptual art but it must grab me aesthetically to hold my attention. Dahlgren’s work has texture, form, color, and the ability to make me delve into his intended meaning. I love his varied use of materials as well. Above are some of my favorite pieces from his site. You should explore the rest this weekend. Plus, take a look at one of his interactive installations below, it’s a giant dart wall. I don’t think that would fly in America, probably too many safety issues.
