bright turquoise and sorbet orange

Cyan and Orange rebecca thuss

I’m going to do a surface pattern design trade-show in January. I’m thinking a lot about color lately and which ones I’m drawn to. I wonder what makes people attracted to some colors more than others and why. I’m particularly drawn to bright turquoise and sorbet orange as a pair.

The images above are from Rebecca Thuss‘s site. I can’t look at it without drooling. Here’s where I’ve posted about her and Patrick Farrell in the past.

I love this color combo too. The hues seem to vibrate off each other and come to life! And I’m drooling right along with you over Rebecca’s photos!
