I’ve been having one of the most magical summers in memory (we go back to NYC in a couple of weeks). It’s so easy to pick up and be in a beautiful rustic setting from here in Seattle. Last weekend we hit up Whidbey Island. We explored tidal pools, went to a bonifide country fair and explored a cute village.

I was so excited and surprised to find my book in the most quaint book shop, Moonraker. I highly recommend a visit to Whidbey and especially to Moonraker bookstore. My husband told them it was my book and they (the two sweet ladies who run the shop who happen to be a cross between the best high school English teacher you ever had and your beloved great aunt) asked me to sign it. I could not have been more thrilled to see my book in the most charming independent bookstore.
