Billy Name was Warhol’s lover, friend and archivist of the Silver Factory. The East 47th Street space was coated in silver foil or silver spray paint (1964) and became a place for talents like The Velvet Underground, Nico Case and Edie Sedgwick to spend their time. Name’s images are now on exhibit in London.

Billy Name: The Silver Age is on show at Serena Morton II Gallery in London from 30 September – 23 October. The book is published by Reel Art Press
