Castlecliff campaign

This is my second campaign for Castlecliff a brand that relaunched recently with a mix of 70’s vintage and era inspired jewelry. The visual tone of this campaign references late vintage Vogue and Harpers Bazaar poses, makeup, set, mood and lighting of that era but with a modern twist. To add a whimsical nod we incorporated actual vintage magazines. The set, prop and styling colors reference the mood of the season which was inspired by the desert. See more below the credits….

NEW beauty editorial for Tidal Magazine: Aqueous Beauty

I loved creative directing this beauty editorial for Tidal Magazine issue 9. This shoot stemmed from my love of refracted light and watercolor. I was interested in exploring the sheer and clear trend that is so prevalent this spring. I put together this concept to explore aqueous fashion and beauty looks through the cut and shape of sheer clothing that references the movement of water and the way light is cast through transparent surfaces. To push the concept further we added in set elements that allowed us to shoot through watery surfaces. Every detail of this shoot from the color and textures in the clothing to the watercolor/wet makeup looks furthered the lush and liquified vibe.
