CFDA: New York Fashion Week Men’s, Bode show
Monday morning I went backstage with The CFDA to the Bode presentation to live paint. Here are some paintings and there are hyperlapses posted to Instagram.

I added original art to my shop including a few fresh live painting pieces from NYFW–The Whit Presentation.
Marchesa invited me backstage during NYFW to capture my perspective before the models hit the runway. Their gowns are utterly magical. The details are beyond exceptional. Models floated around in ombre toile and shimmering gold. It was something out of A Midsummer Night’s Dream rather than a rainy night in NYC. Anyway, I illustrated these images for them to share on Instagram.
I had fun rendering these exotic fruity products and abstract washy background for Rachel Ray Magazine.
I hope you all had a nice long weekend. We stayed around Brooklyn hitting the park, sprinklers and taking one day trip to Manhattan to the American Museum of Natural History. It truly feels like summer around here.
Now that my book is rooted in the world, I’m excited to be playing around with different styles and collaborating with friends and clients again. Check out some new work in my photo incorporated site section. Also follow along as I collaborate with some stylists on Thursdays on Instagram using #ladiesbeautycollective.
Top photo by Anthony Turner Hair and the other two by Rubi Jones—all with my watercolor on top.
