Here’s a little surface pattern vignette I recently made of fruits!
This will be a busy week! Though I am looking forward to it! We came off of a busy and fun weekend too. We went to see a friend perform some new songs after living in Berlin for a year. We had a lovely brunch with Abbey and her beautiful family at Odeon in Tribeca, here’s a photo of us. Dave and I shared mascerated berries with marscapone cheese for lunch-dessert. I want to try to make them they were so delicious!
Next we celebrated Dave’s birthday with friends and played Buck Hunter. It’s a really really fun game. I always feel silly playing though as I’m a vegetarian and not a fan of hunting. I suppose virtual hunting does not count though?
Monday, I’m setting up my booth, E8, at the NY Printsource show. It’s a big job to fill the little booth and make it look enticing, colorful, and evocative of all my work without being overwhelming or a dizzying blast of pattern! I will snap some shots and share them with you. Send good vibes my way that my work will be well received please!
Totally tangential….check out this fun video of a child’s sounds turned into electronic music. This little girl is delightful!
I love the bottom right print – the blueberries. 🙂
thanks so much Carla….
hope some client does too. I could see it as a paper product…or fabric??
We’ll see if anyone digs it!
I can see it as fabric; for what, I dot know. 🙂 Wrapping paper or fabric?
ha, that’s funny that you know Roland too 🙂
He was our choir instructor (and hopefully will be again after summer break)…
