So so so excited to receive my first issue of Remedy Quarterly put together by some fine folks including my friend Kelly of the delicious blog eat, make, read. Reading Kelly’s blog and ordering Remedy are sure to make you smack your lips at glorious recipes. I know from first hand experience that Kelly is a master. I mean who makes homemade ginger ale, chili lime tequila popcorn and chocolate martinis? Kelly, that’s who.
We just gave our landlord notice and paid our last month rent. We have not found a new apartment yet and it’s so scary (we have 3 weeks). We want to stay in the same neighborhood. We love Brooklyn and we love living near the park. I hope we can find a new home sweet home.

How incredible are these photographs by artist Ryan McGinley? Check the full show out on his site. I would love to own one of these large photographs for my home. I could stare at it all day. The juxtaposition of these tiny human figures against these massive rock formations with dreamy cool or warm light just fascinate me.
