My friends at Galison scouted my vintage typewriter planner and painterly sticky notes at Anthropologie and snapped these shots for me to share with you.
You can get the planner from Anthropologie online and Galison online but the sticky notes are only available in shops.
Warning: Go to Anthro at your own risk. It will be hard to walk away with just one thing!
In honor of last night, Fashion’s Night Out I’m happy to host a Shobop giveaway ($100 gift certificate for one commenter).
I’m spotlighting my favorite designer, Marc Jacobs. One of you will be getting a $100 gift card to spend at Shopbop on anything you want including the items below.
Leave a comment right here in the next 10 days and I’ll choose a commenter at random to receive the certificate—tell your friends if you want them to have a chance ; )
Also, watch Shopbop ask designers: Pamela Love, Jenni Kayne, Rachel Roy, Charlotte Ronson about their work, style and tips for you at their Fashion’s Night Out event- on video here. You can also follow Shopbop on twitter.
I’m in the midst of an insane amount of work, still I couldn’t help but notice that autumn has arrived (hello rain). Fashion’s night out is coming up here in NYC. Plus, people are getting ready for school and non-summer work hours, so I put together a few essentials for all of us to kick off the season in style, organization and fun:
Fashion week is about to kick off in New York. One of my oldest and best friends/ the most stylish person (Violet Gaynor) I know will be in the center of it all under the big tents. I’ll rely on her to give me some insider tips on what’s what in the fashion world.
Fashionologie just asked Violet to share a fashion week survivial secret. Her latest obsession are Warby Parker glasses which is super coincidental because we just ordered my ever bespectacled husband Dave two pairs (shipping is free and they encourage you to order extra pairs to try on).
Secretly I’ve always wanted glasses. I’m lucky not to need them but I kind of just want to wear them. Would you wear glasses just for fun or do you think it would be silly without a prescription? I love these two styles: Thatcher & Finn.
