Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have 4 projects going at the same time and it’s a bit overwhelming to say the very least.
Nonetheless, I had to share this book that I’m excited about: Humans of New York.
I’m a big fan of Garry Winogrand and Vivian Maier so it’s very special to be able to hear the thoughts of some of incredible subjects of these photographs. Brandon started HONY “to construct a photographic census of New York City.” He thought it would be interesting to create a catalogue of the city’s inhabitants which eventually led him to start collecting quotes and short stories from the subjects of his photos. I know I’ll be lost in this book. Living in NYC I’m constantly looking around at all of the amazing people who live here and wondering what their story is.
