I had an amazing time illustrating Rachel Cusk’s novel Outline throughout 2014 in issues 207, 208, 209, and 210 of the Paris Review.
It was both challenging and exciting to envision her interesting characters and settings. It felt a bit sneaky to get to read the novel before it was officially published and available in bookshops. Today it comes out in hard cover so if you haven’t followed along in the Paris Review you may want to pick it up.
Here’s more about it and some rave reviews via a write-up by Editor of the Paris Review Lorin Stein, featuring select illustrations from the series.
Some of my illustrations from the series were selected for American Illustration 33 and Creative Quarterly 37.
