I’m dreaming of little getaway weekends this summer. I love these bags. I think you could buy one and use it forever. They’re so classic and cool, effortlessly chic without trying. How about wearing some sort of simple Steven Alan or APC frock and wooden sandals (perhaps something like this?) and hitting the road?!:

I’m so looking forward to meeting up with my friend Erin today. She’s visiting a bunch of us bloggers here in Brooklyn. I wanted to go to the blogger party yesterday but I have a freelance job that I neeeeded to work on. I am going to see her today for brunch!! Which reminded me of these amazing pantone chairs she found that I’ve had a star on in my reader for ever. So I put together this round up of fun stuff for your home.

Anyone who reads Maquette diligently will recall numerous posts dedicated to the perfect easy breezy dress. I’m always on the hunt. I wish I could fill my wardrobe with pieces like this. I want to just be polished and neat all the time but have it be totally effortless. If that’s my fashion goal I better get started with this C&C number. Black makes me feel dull but I love gray. Something about it always seems crisp and fresh:
