Seeing spots: Rachel Rose, Jennifer Fisher & Kate Spade

seeing spots

I’m loving these fun spots, from rich inky blotches on a tee to a perfume bottle with gilded spots haphazardly strewn along its surface to a wide cuff with spots neatly missing…. spots spell fun.

  1. Rachel Rose- hand painted shirt (discovered on hey suzy)
  2. Jennifer Fisher- three dot cuff
  3. Kate Spade- Twirl eu du parfum
Side note, today is our last full day as Brooklyn residents. Tonight baby Henry goes to stay with my mom while we pack up. Tomorrow the moving truck comes and we start a new life in a new nest.

Gray and Red for early autumn

There’s so too much going on right now. I’m looking forward to summer’s end. Autumn seems like it’ll be a relief. Hopefully we’ll be all settled into our new home, the air will start to get crisp and the leaves will turn red against the gray buildings of Manhattan. I’d love to meld into my city:

  1. 3/4 sleeve dressJuicy Couture
  2. Hensley sunglassesMosley Tribes Eyewear
  3. Blanca Monros Gomez- dainty ruby ring
  4. Classic Q Percy bag (chianti)- Marc Jacobs

Lighting: Iacoli & McAllister, Nightwood, Pelle’s DIY chandalier, and Mattias Stahlbom

We’re moving this coming Thursday. It took all summer for me to finish painting, now I’m excited to decorate our new nest. It feels like a fresh start. Of course whereever we are as long as we’re together, we’re thrilled. Still it will be great to set up a new home/ studio. I’ll be sharing that process and the products we put in our space with you. I won’t post home decor stuff everyday but I had to share these ceiling lights with you. We can’t install them as we only have a few hardwired fixtures in the apartment but maybe you’ll want these for your home?:
  1. Iacoli & McAllister
  2. BK Handbuilt for Nightwood
  3. Jean Pelle’s bubble chandalier (DIY)
  4. E27 Pendant Lamp by Mattias Ståhlbom for Muuto
